Description
Work
with your dog to become a certified Therapy Dog
and receive the
AKC Canine Good Citizenship
Award!
This
course serves as prep for both the CGC and TDI
tests, and is not
designed to teach dogs the
basics.
For enrollment, dogs MUST be able
to:
- Walk nicely on a loose leash
-
Sit/Down and Stay from a distance
- Be OK with
you out of their sight
- Be in the presence of
dogs and people and show NO aggression.
- Greet
people politely (without jumping)
- Be handled
from head to toe (without exception)
- Pass a pre-enrollment
evaluation by TDI and/or CGC tester prior to
class
